Heidelberg Instruments is a global leader in designing, developing, and manufacturing of direct write lithography systems for micro- and nano- and 3D-patterning that are used in the research institutions and by industrial facilities around the world. Your mission
Technicians, engineers, scientists for highly complex systems.
You can expect an environment characterized by high technology and a collegial team atmosphere. You will receive intensive training in our products over several weeks at our location in Heidelberg. Following this, you will work very independently on maintenance, repair and upgrade services for our installed equipment and systems at demanding customers' sites in Germany and Europe. The work covers electronics, laser optics, software and mechanics in equal measure. You will be able to organize your travels personally, including the scheduling and planning of appointments. You should find the amount of travel with approx. 50 % enriching. You support customers both on-site and via remote diagnosis and are the competent contact person for technical questions.
After several months of cross-project training and gaining practical experience, you will take over the support of demanding industrial customers in Germany and other European countries.
This also requires on-call duties within a team.
Your profile
You need a technical or scientific degree, preferably in physics, mechanical engineering or comparable. We are also happy to interview an experienced technician. In any case, you are looking for high technical standards and are proficient in practical work in the above mentioned fields.
For travel and communication with international customers we require good English and a high willingness to travel.
We are looking for the independent acting employee (f/m/o) who is enthusiastic about technical developments and represents us accordingly at customers.
